Anthea began to learn the art of DJ’ing back in 1997 and in the intervening years has come up through the ranks demonstrating a subtlety and sophistication that most of her male counterparts can only wish for.
Her keen sense of mood and groove, and sleekly funk-driven productions have seen fledgling efforts debuted on key labels Freak n’Chic, Cecille, Supplement-Facts and Tuningspork – the next year will bring releases on Supernature, and much more.
Like many producers, music had always had a strong presence throughout Anthea's childhood - jamming with her father in a home-based studio, her natural talent found its voice through an Amstrad 8 Track System and reams of tape, the young composer providing the keys to her Father’s bass.
These days, she has developed a distinctive style very much her own – somewhere lodged between house and techno; always deep, tribal and bassline fuelled. Word of her sleek and stylistically funk-driven sound has not only landed her a coveted Ibiza Voice podcast, but steadily spread across Europe.
Her long held love of the studio clearly shows in her collaborations with close friend Alex Celler, and with Werner Niedermeier as JC Freaks. Her alliance with the former shows more than a little musical chemistry between the two – the hit Caedmon Loop stormed dance floors to become one of Ibiza’s best-loved anthems of 2009, whilst work with the latter has supplied several classy EP’s on labels such as Phonica, Mojuba and offshoot Wandering – proving that (if we were in any doubt!) here is a lady who knows her craft.
Having built a stellar reputation as arguably the most in-demand female DJ in London, 2009 saw Anthea step up to a deserved platform. And with an emphasis on creating, not imitating, she has laid more than solid foundations for 2010, and beyond that a neat and inspired future.

Who's Who presents Chris Carrier
There are two kinds of DJs: those whose goal is to make a name for themselves and those whose goal is to make music - and let the rest follow. Parisian Chris Carrier is among the latter. For more than a dozen years he's been an underground icon, churning out more than one hundred records and remixes for a host of labels. Too busy working to chase a spot in the limelight, Carrier is nevertheless rightly revered as one of the most gifted, prolific producers on the dance scene. Refusing to restrict his output to one genre or one school of thought, Carrier has dabbled freely in everything from house to hip hop, drum 'n'bass to minimal, techno to electro. Most DJ shave one label - if at all - but Chris is so restlessly creative he's founded a whole fistful of labels over the course of his career, including the renowned Adult Only imprint, Chronobrain, Combustible, Taka, X86 and Direct Art. He has also worked under more than a fifteen aliases. However, youthful notions of being a baker ("I like cakes," he says) lost out to music when he discovered the early 90s techno rave scene and began to DJ. Driven to be the master of his musical destiny, Chris quickly learned to produce and created pioneering techno outlet Chronobrain with Guillaume La Tortue. For seven-odd years Chris devoted himself the label, and its offshoots including house-oriented Taka and drum 'n' bass imprint X86.However, his love for rave culture led him back towards more purely creative work. From 2003 onwards Chris has founded new labels Adult Only and Catwash, as well as bringing his vision to Get Physical, Crack & Speed, Brique Rouge, Robsoul, Kill Brique and - most recently - Freak n' Chic. This has put the underground star firmly in the forefront of the new French electronic movement, bringing his diverse style to the sexy, deep, techy house vibes that dominate the scene. Chris is more sought-after than ever for his DJ skills - he's penetrated the
notorious US market with gigs in Georgia, San Francisco, Denver, Las Vegas and Miami. And plays in Europe's clubbing capitals: London, Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam and Milan, to name a few. Look out for his gigs, and Chris's forthcoming remix of Matthew Dear's Dog Days - the first of many exciting projects for this unique artist in 2008.

Who's Who presents Massimo Di Lena
Young and talented, Massimo Di Lena (aka Massi DL) structures his artistic research on the continuous developments in electronic music, that he elaborates with charming eclecticism. A witness of that is his brief but intense career, started as a Dj with hip-hop and funky selection at some of his friends'parties and then evolved into exciting performances imbued in techno and house grooves in front of the crowds of the best international clubs. To consacrate the success is the constant and fruitful work as a producer. The first release on the English vinyl label Multivitamins dates back to August 2006, Between February and March 2007 the ep "1up" on Fankie rec and "Microbiotik remix", arranged for his friend Joseph Capriati, are released. Those tracks are supported and played by DJs like Marco Carola and Richie Hawtin. The remix is even licensed for the compilation "Amnesia Ibiza Underground 7". In November of the same year he signes two tracks - Wonderland and Acidland - for the renowned German label Trapez and simultaneously starts a collaboration with the dj/producer Xpansul leading in 2008 on the label "Soma Recordings". Still in the same year Massi DL founds his own label with Lucio Aquilina - Wordless - whose first release appears on the compilation :"Fuse presents Adam Beyer" of the Belgian club Fuse. The different experiences around the world enrich the cultural background of the Neapolitan producer. With the remix for Nic Fanciulli on NRK and Brett Johnson on Frankie rec. the first signs of evolution can be found. The sounds are housey with clear old school influences, always interpretated with his innate sense of exploration. In 2009 the artist holds several collaborations: with Carola Pisaturo he gives life to the project called Vegas Gas on Claque Musique, with Dario Di Pace he starts a project called "Horacio", a pseudonym through wich he lands on labels such as Raum...Musik and Cynosure. This project receives great success. It is in fact the year 2009 that marks a decisive artistic and professional maturation of the young Neapolitan and an important step onwards in his career due also to his newly born collaborations with Luciano's "Cadenza Records" and Federico Molinari's label "Love letters from Oslo", which will start from november 2009 and the tracks will be released with the artist's real name: Massimo Di Lena.

All inn 005 by Rills
All Inn Records have already proved to be massively popular with the biggest names throughout 2010, and their latest release is set to increase yet again, the buzz surrounding the Romanian imprint. All Inn's fifth installment comes from the Turin sensation that is Rills...
Having grown up in the shadow of Italy's 'Motor City' in the heart of Mirafori, in a city of non stop musical turmoil. It was the beauty of the electronic melody that first snared Rills. In the mid 2000's the national and internationally renowned promoter 'Xplosiva' spotted the young blossoming talent and enlisted him as resident.
Since that time, Rills has shared the DJ booth with the worlds finest, as the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig and Akufen have all felt the heat of his burning hot warm-up sets. His sound is the sweetest mixture of sultry, deep grooves, disco, funk and the classic sound of 90's house, all revised with a minimal touch.
His fist foray into the world of production was his 2009 'Bye Bye EP' produced alongside Step. It picked up strong support from the likes of Laurent Garnier and Loco Dice, and the 'Costa Verde' track from the EP ruled the top of Chris Carrier's summer chart.
The 'Everybody' EP sees Rills revisit those classic house influences in true style. Turning out two of the freshest cuts of the year in 'Everybody' and 'Peep Show', with both tracks showing a maturity in their production that will impress the most hardened of house heads.
Who else could All Inn turn to to remix 'Everybody' but Chris Carrier. An early supporter of Rills, Chris takes the laid back groove of the original and replaces it with a more driving, tracky workout.
Is this the finest release from All Inn Records to date? Possibly. Are you guys gonna rinse and love it? Most definitely!

Who's Who presents RILLS
Alongside the endless boulevards and among the industrial Turin’s countless blocks, in the heart of Mirafiori, two steps away from the factory of the Italian Motor City, Rills grows up with metal beats and, in a town in a non stopping musical turmoil, falls in love with the electronic melody. Xplosiva, exceptional national and internationally renowned promoter, spots, in the middle 2000s, the young boy’s sophisticated taste and enlists him as a resident, commiting him burning warm ups next to absolut names: Ricardo Villalobos, Carl Craig, Akufen to name a few. The young artist’s ear refines and in a city that has deep pretensions in the field, Rills puts feelings and creativity into his music searching for the right way to synthesize his journey into the electronic universe. His sound is a sexy and deep groove with disco, funky and classic 90’s House’s influences, reread in a minimal key. It’s 2009 spring when the fresh sound of the Bye Bye Ep produced together with Step is printed in vinyl. Laurent Garnier and Loco Dice answer back and they play it several times across the world. Costa Verde, one of the three tracks of the Ep, is at the top of July 2009’s Chris Carrier chart. The French artist has signed the remix of one of the tracks of the Rill’s next work: the Everybody EP, coming out in June 2010 on the Romanian label All Inn Records . Rills is resident dj at Doctor Sax : the most loved breakfast of Turin’s electronic mornings. His sound has flown through huge clubs across Italy and Europe as Tenax in Florence, Cassero in Bologna, Boulevard in Barcelona and the Liberty Supersport in Brussels as ambassador of the State of Independence, 2009 edition of festival Club to Club.

That's Funk Art presents BLU

Who's Who presents Dj Sneak
DJ Sneak - Bio
In 1983, Carlos Sosa aka DJ Sneak, moved to the city of Chicago from the island of Puerto Rico, where his early musical experiences and influences were rooted in salsa, meringue and Latin orchestras. Chicago, like Puerto Rico, is a city rich with musical styles and sounds. In Chicago Sneak found inspiration in underground house music, Warehouse parties and "old school" mix tapes from the early pioneers _ Farley Jackmaster Funk, Ralphi Rosario, Steve Hurley and local radio station shows played on WBMX.
Sneak earned his nickname rocking graffiti-tags and began working at retail stores as an airbrush artist, which kept him out of trouble and allowed him to make important local industry contacts. Development as a DJ came while working regular mobile DJ jobs and local nightclubs. But, in an already saturated DJ pool, Sneak focused on his music production and started his independent label - Defiant Records.
In 1992, using the fundamental studio pieces, Sneak began recording tracks with an unusual new style. In 1994, while still working at local store Gramophone Records, Sneak met Cajmere (Green Velvet) owner of Cajual and Relief Records. Cajmere released three of Sneak's catalyst tracks, which helped to bring Sneak international recognition, and with it, a global DJing career.
In 1995, Sneak's new sound revolutionized house music with inspirational sounds and rhythms never heard. The disco filtered house grooves became Sneak's signature sound. Innovator to many, Sneak's love for music inspired others like Daft Punk, Basement Jaxx, Armand Van Helden.
In 1996, DJ Sneak's 'You Can't Hide from your Bud', on Derrick Carter's Classic Recordings, ironically became an instant classic itself; a blueprint for funky, filtered disco-influenced house - Sneak Style - redefining Chicago's underground music. From 1996 to present day, DJ Sneak has perfected his remix skills, seizing opportunities to work with world-class talent and fine-tune his sound. His highly anticipated remixes take dance floors around the world to levels of climactic frenzy with his trademark booty-shakin, bass-heavy beats and rhythms.
After years of development, DJ Sneak is a familiar name across the world's club circuit playing the very best venues and events. A frequent visitor to Ibiza - the island of spiritual parties and Mecca of dance music culture, Sneak has participated in several events with the best UK production companies - Ministry of Sound, Cream, Manumission, and Miss Moneypenny's to mention a few.
A favorite at United Kingdom's summer festivals (Homelands, Creamfields, T in the Park), Sneak shows no mercy on the sound systems and is a guaranteed crowd pleaser. Recognized as the disco filter innovator, his productions and musical style has maintained his status as one of the Top 100 DJs in the world for 5 consecutive years. Dynamic in style - from furious banging Chicago tracks and Latin tribal beats, to disco filtered reworks of retro classics and melodic rhythms to suit your soul.
In fall 2001 Sneak launched a new record label Magnetic Recordings, where he has been releasing new music, with compilations to come, along with the introduction of new musical talents. He continues to contribute to the evolution and definitive sound that is Chicago House Music.
E per chi fosse interessato a breve suonera all'echoes...beh non ci resta altro che andarlo a sentire!!

Written and produced by David Ortega for Cadenza Records. Mastered by Helmut @ Dubplates & Mastering, Berlin. Published by Cadenza Publishing / (p) & (c) Cadenza Records 2009. Distributed worldwide by www.wordandsound.net Mendo’s “Everybody I Got Him (2009 Mix)” and “1992″ (Cadenza 41) helped set the tone of 2009: pumping, percussive old-school attitude with new-school finesse. And no wonder: the Spanish-born, Swiss-based producer has learned a thing or two about rocking crowds in the 15 years since George Morel first gave the budding DJ a leg up. Now he leads us into 2010 with two more tracks sure to be dominating dance floors from now until the closing of the Ibiza season. “Aventuras” is, if anything, even more full-on and immediate than “Everybody.” Pushed ahead by a slippery, shaker-heavy percussive groove and a booming, subbass throb, it’s a no-nonsense command to move. Celebratory, call-and-response cheers draw the dancers together, and African vocal loops increase the intensity level, spinning spellbinding shapes in the air as they gradually unfurl. With rat-a-tat snare fills and tricky blasts of white noise and reverb, the track is one long, extended build-up. DJs beware: anything you play next is bound to sound anticlimactic. “Madrugada,” meaning “early morning” in Spanish, accordingly dials things down a notch—but not too much! The wordless, sing-song chants are perfect for those postdawn hours, their phased tones and elliptical loops dragging you deep into a hypnotic zone. But the groove is powerful enough to keep things moving well past mediodía, with cracking snares, shuffling hi-hats and a smattering of carefully tuned percussion leading you through seven and a half minutes of delicious, delirious tension and release. As these two certified burners prove, back-to-basics house music is alive and thriving. And while he’s been around the block a time or two, this essential double-Aside release confirms Mendo’s status as an artist on the rise. Who's Who presents Ues
Having grown up in a small village in Southern Italy, Andrea Grasso, 23, is considered to be anactual talent in the flourishing European minimal house scene.
In 2005, after moving to Bologna, the counting number of successful live and studio session
consecrated him as a true precursor of sweet and mental sounds, combining percussive grooves,
powerful bass lines and forward thinking beat elements strongly influenced by techno and house
old school sounds.
After having released a bounce of tracks and toured all over Europe via Finland, Germany, Spain,
Iceland, the Netherlands, Denmark, Poland and of course Italy, he decided to move to techno
capital Berlin in 2008 to continue developing his music.
There he immediately was signed to Resopal Schallware and within a few months, released three
very impressive EPs and a remix for Brendon Moeller (which was very highly acclaimed).
Today his works are favored and played out by djs like: Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Luciano,
Dj Koze, Robag Whrume, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Mathias Kaden, Tobi Neumann, Ilario Alicante,
Markus Fix, Lauhaus, Boris Werner, Kabale und Liebe, Daniel Sanchez, Onur Ozer, Someone
Else, Brendon Moeller, and Danny Fiddo to name a few.
Look out for upcoming EPs and Remixes by UES as released through his home label Resopal and
platforms like Bla Bla, Soweso, Robsoul and District Raw.
